[QUOTE="Funereal"][QUOTE="Andonio"]"Satanism" is a very infantile, childish andfaux-religious concept that only depressed and suicidal teenagers with an utmost lack of moral fibrechoose to follow, just to "rebel against authority". It must be the mostlaughable religion I've ever heard of, and that's saying something.
I don't see how it can be considered as a religion, as there is no salvation for true believers (going to eternal damnation is the exact OPPOSITE of what people want after living a religious life). It is simply a sillyconcept made for the sole purpose of mocking Christianity, nothing else.

There is no eternal damnation for a satanist since we do not believe in any afterlife. The purpose isn't to mock christianity, satanism offers an alternative, a more real philosohpy that follows human nature instead of denying your natural drives and desires with the promise of some reward after you die.
Do you believe that Satan exists?
No, satanists do not believe in the existence of any form of supernatural beings or gods or fairies or whatever.
Christians seem to have trouble grasping this, since for them the devil is "real". They think that satanists worship their christian idea of the Satan figure as he is described in the bible. The word Satan and particularly the concept of Satan predates christianity. Satan is an old hebrew word mening adversary or accuser and the satanist sees himself as the adversary in todays society because he strives for more than just being part of a mass, a collective.
