I instantly put a screen protector on mine when I got it. The Hori screen protector covers most of the front and it's pretty good. Hasn't scratched up. I really recommend a screen protector since I have a terrible feeling the screen will get scratched with all that use.
Even if you can transfer more PS1 titles to the Vita through PS3, most of them are buggy. I tried transferring Tekken 2 and Resident Evil 3 and there's always some control hiccups when I play it on Vita. Like it would automatically press square when I'm pressing X. I guess they minimized the games you can DL off the Vita PSN store to make time to patch the others that aren't on the PS1 classics for Vita.
Thanks for your thoughts guys. I guess I'll be buying it tonight at the midnight launch since I can just flip the game in the long run and I'm not keen on buying used handhelds on ebay or craigslist and that $50 gift card could go to a 8gb memory stick till I wait for a price drop on the 32gb one.
I'm thinking of jumping the gun and getting a Vita tonight at midnight for the BestBuy Madden 13 bundle. It has Madden 13 and you get a $50 gift certificate with the purchase. I'm not a Madden fan so I might end up selling it and there's no memory stick bundled with the Vita but the gift certificate could be used to get one. Do you think it's worth getting this bundle? Can't decide. :(
