Yep. Xbox 360 is the best for hardcore gamers. Wii is for grandma, grandpa, toddlers, special needs (ie retards) and soccer moms pretty much. Nintendo betrayed their hardcore fans a long time ago and have laughed all the way to the bank. The evil bastards. So one can learn a lot about business from Nintendo but not a lot about being a decent human being. Nintendo is the George Lucas of the gaming world.

"funny how both are held pretty low on my list, especially on the writing department." Fan of Majora's Embarassment and Wand Wacker I take it? Ahh yes those two Anouma masterpieces one of which has our hero chasing ridiculous looking pigs while he looks even more ridiculous and the other featuring a ridiculous looking goofy moon and a cast of totally emo utterly forgettable characters. Haha, I totally loved the part in Wand Wacker where you beat Baby Ganon over the head with the magical baby rattle of courage or remember the part in Major Embarassment where you play the song of time and lose all your items? Yeah thats what I call riveting gameplay, and I'm sure the quote button is a magical thing but ya know so is not being a lemming and having your own style. I have such a style. Thanks for the protip though bro. I'll keep you in mind next time I need an arrogantly obnoxious passive aggressive's opinion on my posting style.

Yeah.

I mean I like it and all but its always seemed to me like something was missing in the series.

Pretty much a toss up between Donkey Kong Country Returns and New Super Mario Brothers but if I can ever get around to starting Mario Galaxy 2 this may change.

"You sure do like to show that you know the names of the people behind zelda, don't you?"

I'm naming those names precisely because those three men were behind the two best games in the series to date LTTP and OOT.

And the only way we're going to get a game that equals or even surpasses OOT in epic greatness is if those three men re-unite on a Zelda game project specifically in writer/director roles.

"Low post count, Justin beiber avatar, new account? Yeah, you've never played the game and are just trying to harass people for entertainment"

My icon is mocking how Skyward Sword Link looks exactly like Justin Bieber.

Glad you could find the lulz in it. :)

Also I HAVE played the game, I AM playing the game and at present I HAVE reached the Ancient Cistern.

Don't believe me?

Check out my lengthy and epic review of the game on Amazon under my Gamespot username "FightForTheLost".

Amazon doesn't let a person review who hasn't bought from them before and also there's a confirmation on the site that verifies I have indeed purchased the game specifically I got the gold remote + CD bundle.

I go into great detail about why the game is awful as well I go into the Zelda series as a whole and what needs to be done to fix it and get it back on track so its a true triple A title once again.

Though first to do that the series must derail off of the awful track Eiji Anouma has set it on beginning with Majora's Mask and the new director Hidemaro Fujibayashi's Skyward Sword.

Its impossible to vote on this with any degree of accuracy primarily because I don't know if Hidemaro Fujibayashi or Eiji Anouma will be directing the next one.

If either of those two hacks direct the next Zelda game it will be a disaster and utter disgrace as usual.

If however Miyamoto or Tezuka the series original creators return to directing and Yoshiaki Koizumi returns to writing then the Wii U Zelda will be a phenomenon that just may finally top Ocarina Of Time.

The controls are terrible.

Overall Tom Mcshea gave Skyward Sword the score it deserved.

Its utterly pathetic how many professional liars there are that gave this horrifically flawed game a perfect 10.

Broken controls + empty world + utterly forgetable characters does not equate to perfection especially not after a 5 year development cycle in time of which Bethesda a competing game developer basically created a compelling and huge game world with plenty of things to do in it and plenty of interesting people to see.

Nintendo gives its fans a sub par dumbed down totally shoddy product because they know they can get away with it due to the culture of the "yes men" that pervades the Nintendo fan community unfortunately.

That all too familiar lemming like mindless march of Nintendo fan forums to the beat of the out of touch Nintendo company's drum.
