Not only is Starfield locked at 30fps/1440p on the underpowered Xbox Series S but even the supposedly mighty Xbox Series X is LOCKED at 30fps/4K with no option for 60fps or even 40fps. Thanks a lot TODD! Expect a lot of frame rate dips also based on the footage we have seen so it might be closer to 20 or 25fps. The fact that we are getting 1998 frame rates of 30fps or less in 2023 with no higher option is unacceptable and there is no excuse. You ever try playing a racing game or shooter at 30fps only? It sucks. Some people get headaches or are sensitive to it and it is objectively worse than 60. Even 40 would have been somewhat better and not as noticeable. What is the point in exploring 1,000 planets when we are stuck with a microsoft powerpoint presentation frame rate? You better hope it doesn't dip below that or you will get sick as a dog.

Redfall is a complete dumpster fire but at least there is a 60fps patch later and it has multiplayer. With starfield on xbox, you are simply screwed with the vastly inferior port. Thank god there is a PC version. Imagine the disappointment on a child's face on christmas when they get xbox starfield instead of pc starfield. It would be like getting a lump of coal and a slap in the face.

I will probably pass on the game entirely anyways since the game looks boring, lifeless, and empty and Bethesda cant write compelling stories, characters, or questlines. Are Xbox fans ok with a vastly inferior 1998 frame rate or they finally gonna come to their senses and switch to the superior PC that has glorious 60fps and mods?

I dont get the hype for starfield. The game looks lifeless, empty, and boring. Also the story, characters, writing, and quests will be trash which is par for the course for bethesda

This show was bad also. Avowed and fable are not looking good. I have zero interest in starfield. They should have cancelled it and focused on elder scrolls 6. We could have got it this year. Clockwork could be interesting. Im excited for cities 2. Still no banjo, no conker, no gears 6, no perfect dark. Sony didnt have the greatest show either but im a hell of a lot more excited for spiderman 2, re4 VR, FF16, FF 7 Rebirth, and Wolverine than any of this

No one gave a shit about Forspoken but Microsoft has riding hard on Redfall because they don't have anything else once again so for that reason, I think Redfall is the bigger flop. I don't think Starfield is gonna do amazing either. It doesn't have nearly the same mainstream appeal as Elder Scrolls and Fallout since space games are niche as hell and the last showing wasn't impressive

Last of Us was pretty good but it's always been overrated as hell. I've always preferred RE4's campaign
