I am not too bothered by the boot up load times for games, it is the in-game load times which really annoy me. Take The Sims 2 for example, just about everything you do requires a load of something or other, what a pain....................... The gameplay stumbles along as things load and the game pauses. Why don't Sony just release mem-stick games?? Why did they bother with UMD??? another disc standard. Why did Sony not use cartridge technology for the games?? would have increased battery life also. I'm not likely to dump my PSP as I enjoy playing it too much, but the load times are a pain in the backside. I was interested to see that DS load times are much lower though, I think I might buy one.
