About time they got around to reviewing this. I finally bit the bullet a few weeks after it's release and patiently waiting for a review that never came and just got the game. Pretty happy that I did. Although it's pretty late, it's a pretty accurate review too. Gamespot gave it a 7. Can see that with it being a first release, being a little rough around the edges, and a pretty unforgiving "Pro Mode".

Even still though, I'm really happy with it, as it offers more of a game-like feel that almost starts to feel like Rock Band again, and it's more "fun" in some senses, although Rocksmith 2014 offers a better solution for people actually wanting to learn guitar. Which makes sense, seeing as they partnered with Harmonix just before they went gold with it. So we can kind of see where this will be going. Now they just need to get that DLC-machine moving...
