I don't totally agree with everything that was said. I am not going to lie that part of the reason why i stopped reading most articles because of how it will turn into some sort of pissing contest.

@Double_Wide I really don't have a problem with this because I of the fact its been free for so long. Quite frankly i am shocked they didn't do this sooner when they were in the red. They could have easly followed XBLive path and just wall off all features behind a pay wall but they didn't You still have access to everything excepte online muliplayer. I can still watch amazon prime or netflix without ever having to pay a cent for ps plus. If it bothers you enough don't get it and get an pc. You are not losing anything.

@simcitydrmfree @Enterprise-E Its out of fear that they implent stuff like this because they hear of the rampant hacking and the supposedly 90% of pc games are pirated according to Ubisoft president. When we all know it was complete bs. Even Cliffy B of Epic Games said that the reason for no Gears games on the PC is because of the high piracy. Which is funny because Gears of War 3 was pirated a month before the game came out and that was an Xbox 360 Exclusive.

They do this out of fear even though if they do right by the costumer the costumer will do right by you.

@simcitydrmfree yeah because everyone remembers when Steam first came about if you didn't create an offline profile which they don't tell you about you are completely locked out of your games. Lets not forget that steam is an 10 year old system and the same issues that EA ran into was the same back then. Hell the all mighty Blizzard thought they were prepared for D3 and look what happened.

I forgot its the cool thing to hate EA these days. Oh well. Back to playing games.

Calm down people. They wouldn't of changed it if they themselves felt the same way. I am sure some in the office felt a little conflicted about the line besides its there work they can change it how ever they want to. Just like ME 3 Ending debacle. Only difference is this is something so minor doesn't change the game like ME 3 ending did.

@tobytheman Yes lets all give money to someone who promises after they get there money to make the game of your dreams. I am sorry but i don't trust any kickstarter what so ever.

@sabawoon Yeah because it ok to steal from someone you don't like for the greater good right? Thats the main reason why these publishers and devs are willing to do this because of responses like that. Why not just don't buy it? Its alot easier and much more effective than pirating games.

Thats not bad actually. I might have to consider this since i been thinking of jumping back into Gears of War MP again.

Yall should do what i do with every call of duty game. RENT IT! You know they are never going to do a online pass because they are making tons of money without it. So if you really want to play CoD go rent it. If you love CoD and have no problem buying it . More power to you.
