I actually enjoyied Halo Wars. Even though it was an very simple RTS but the control of it was actually pretty good. Shame it never came out on the PC because I know alot of RTS fans would have picked this up just because it was a new RTS game.
@RedLegZeff That's a better understanding than I could have thought of. The developer shouldn't have to explain this at all and let the game speak for itself rather or not he was successful in delivering this passion to the game.I sure hope that kind of passion shows in the game by giving it a real story and not some made up crazy story that we been getting with these shooters lately.
@vochelli I agree with this and I want to add that no game can truely replicate war no matter how good the graphics or how real it feels. I think the developer is trying to separate itself from the countless other shooters that are coming out.
My thing is Call of Duty has been marginizing death and regenerating health for the past 4 years. We have played dozens of shooters where people die left and right with no regard to any emotional connection other than " oh man that dude died". I understand that its a business and the object of this business is to make money. I love the the guys passion and he truly seems to understand the plight of the everyday service man but he also understands that this is a business.
I understand Toms point of view but it may have been a little to hard focus on Medal of Honor and not on the other games that have done the exact same thing. I do want something more from FPS other than a set of action sequences and scripted moments. See Half-Lie series for perfect examples of this.
I think they are saving God of War 4 for the PS4. Thats the sense i get from Acension that this will hold you till then. Either way i am excited. I was a little worried about the it focusing on the MP side but seeing this makes me take back what i said about it before. Can't wait for this title.
@a1450358509 I was afraid of that. As long as the controller is reasonable priced it shouldn't be a problem. As for the design I look at it like this: If it isn't broke don't fix it.
My question that comes to mind about the Pro Controller is will it be coming with the system or will it be one those extra items? Reason why i ask is because I might like a traditional controller instead of the tablet controller.
