Not really sure what the point of this video is, we know console ports suck on pc, it's not exactly news but there's games that don't work right on console as well, most recently Lichdom: Battlemage for example released on both playstation 4 and xbone can barely maintain 20fps and on the Xbone it lacks vsync which causes screen tearing so bad it's completely unplayable, buy it for pc tho and it runs at 60 fps with all the graphics maxed, so yeah there's broken games on pc and console and I doubt that's ever going to change
This seems like more of a novelty product than anything, bit of a niche market, if they price it right maybe I could see myself buying one with a few carts but I wouldn't invest too much time on it.
My bro bought me a new USB3 hub this year for chrimbo so not an issue for me and I already have a shit load of ports on the back of my monitors and on the front of my pc case, it's not a huge amount of ports and I don't even know why they bothered posting about needing a port for the xbox controller I mean it's a bit of a no brainer and most people already have gamepads on pc these days, this just seems like fly bait for peeps to have a good moan about VR.
@Halloll I agree with this, stability is important especially for accuracy but if developers scaled back their graphics to the capabilities of each system there's no reason why they can't maintain a steady 60 fps but that wouldn't sell consoles, all they seemed to be concerned with is how good it looks regardless of how well it runs.
