I used to squeeze the juice out of videogames when I was younger. Now, at age 29, it is extremely rare for me to finish any videogame campaign mode. I prefer to stick to the multiplayer mode and play only for fun, rather than for achievement. In other words, shorter play sessions where winning or losing is irrelevant.

Greetings

I've am very excited about the "revolution" that is the new device called Oculus Rift. It looks set to deliver to us exactly what the fan concept (hoax) video of the Nintendo Revolution made us wish we had (http://www.NintendoON.com/).

Now, I know Shigeru Miyamoto acted unimpressed when he tried the Oculus Rift, but really, the truth is that there would be nothing cooler that to see Nintendo make the ON a reality so as to compete against the Sony Morpheus.

With the commercial failure of the Wii U, it is time for Nintendo to step up into the true next generation of gaming. The true revolution, virtual reality!

Opinions? Discuss....

The i7 is a waste for gaming. Save youself some money and get an i5-4670K. It will work just as well. As for the GPU, wait a few more weeks to get the PC. AMD is about to release their new line of GPU's that are faster than the GTX Titian..superclocked
Cool. I'll wait for better GPU. Also, is 32GB RAM overkill? Thou I want to be future proof-ed for a couple years.

Greetings

I want to buy a FragBox. This is what I configured. The only thing I have doubts on is the videocard. Should I go for a nVidia Titan instead? I will play at 1080p over HDMI on a TV. I want to play games on highest settings. Thanks for input on anything that can change.

Can't wait to make fun of the stupid decisions Sony makes with their next console. Should be comedy gold.Miketheman83

Well, Kutaragi-sama is gone. Though Sony did announce this PS4 will be 24k resolution for 2d and also 1080p/60 for stereo 3D. It's going to be a MONSTER SUPERCOMPUTER!!!

I remember playing this game on the PC back in the day. Scariest game ever! I used to play with headphones on and the cheap scares always made me jump off my seat screaming. I dropped my keyboard so many times! Anyways... how is the 3D? I want to buy this game on PS3 just for the 3d as I'm a BIG fan of stereoscopic 3D tech.

I put $5 bucks for it at my local Gamestop store last week and yesterday I got a text message that said:

"Your Dead Or Alive 5 avail 12:01AM Tue. Arrive 10pm Mon to finalize payment."

I am not sure what that means as I haven't reserved games since the N64 era. Can't I just show up at midnight and pay it all right then instead?

Anyways I am really excited about this game. LOVE hot babes that can fight!

I bought is solely for the 3D effect. If it didn't have it I wouldn't have bought it. As the graphics with the 3D off are pretty lame. But turn the 3D on and the games look GLORIOUS. Truly spectacular. I find myself just watching Mario Kart 7 replays after each race just to drool over the great 3D graphics.

http://www.bestbuy.com/site/Samsung+-+43%22+Class+/+Plasma+/+720p+/+600Hz+/+3D+/+HDTV/2121834.p?id=1218310411235&skuId=2121834

:?

So I've been rvesearching for the past several weeks about buying a 3DTV. I came across the Samsung PN43D49043" Plasma (720p/600Hz/3D). Customer reviews everywhere give it nothing but praise. It is only $550 and includes 2 pairs of glasses. :o There has got to be a catch! And there is. It's native resolution is only 1024x768 (what the hell!). Irrespective of that it still gets great praise. However, I feel that is going to be way too low for the next gen consoles coming out soon which will probably display most games at 1080p natively. So buying would make me feel like shooting myself in the foot. What do you all think of this deal? I really want 3D. It is not a luxury to me, but a necessity. :P

Or should I just go for the double the price, but much superior, Panasonic Viera ST30?
