Well folks, the title says it all.

Who is your most revered fictional character? It can be from a video game, a book, your imagination, anything.

I'd have to say mine is Mat Cauthon from the Wheel of Time. I like this guy as he's tossed into a situation that he wants nothing to do with, but still performs as your typical hero would. He also happens to have the best luck around, and he's of course a total wise acre like I am ;).

I always felt Mat was a bit of an idiot. I think my impression is just a hold over from when he got his hands on that dagger...and well, I won't spoil it for anyone. Better than Rand at any rate :P

Mine would be Roland Deschain from the Dark Tower. Yeah, it's a typical response, and yeah he's kind of portrayed as an Anti-Hero, but damn, he's dedicated.
