I really enjoyed reading about what people in the actual industry think and feel on this matter of morality in video games. As for what they can do better, I think homeboy at the end basically said it best... developers need to pay closer attention to the details. As gamers, were gonna complain no matter what, that's a given. No doubt, that shouldn't stop developers from ever expanding the world they create for us to play in. It's one thing to have you jumping from side to side in a game of any genre... but to give it solid meaning is a tough line to walk. Good thing Dragon Age is leading the charge ;)
I was really against Sunshine when it first came out simply because it didn't sound like a Mario game... once I got over the whole water cannon gizmo, I realized it was still a great mario game. But in all respects, nothing besides Mario3 and maybe the RPG for the SNES compares to what Galaxy is doing for the Wii and the Mario legacy 8)
stuff like this only gets me wondering if all the folks who rag on Halo so much even know about such features... goodies like Forge make that 60 bucks seem pretty easy to spend...
CoD4 is on the top of my list no doubt... single player PLUS multiplayer goodness is nothing to gruff at. Next to that, I'd have to say Army of Two and MoH:Airborne look some mighty fun to be had 8)
Thanks gamespot!! Not only for the wonderful video that cheers up any sad day, but the pointless topic of how to get quick gamer points on yer 360. When you support the silly ways of silly folk, you only become just as silly... how silly is that!!
the new controller and shut down modes really catch my attention. Not entirely sure if the sidekick sized keyboard is the best way to type compared to having a USB keyboard plugged in, but I'm open to give it a shot.
Still haven't made the jump even with all the leading hype about Vista, but these comparissons really help, much props Gamespot. If anything, I'll take the advice of waiting rather than being some of the 1st pissed off adopters... its a risky thing to be an early adopter, and this seems like one of those prime times.
