@dxBIGBOSSxb Well said, Boss. Although, the contract Bungie signed shows promise that whatever they put up would HOPEFULLY not go the way of Halo (although I'm excited for Halo 4, a Halo every year can be exhausting...mind you, ODST was fantastic, and Anniversary was a given.
Only time will tell how Bungie will play this out. I would love them to revisit Oni, but with Activision behind the scenes, the minute they have a hit it'll become their next Halo.
The first one was a huge let down, I felt like what they told us before release and what we got were two completely different games. I was expecting more of hybrid of FPS, RPG and Survival Horror, not...well, Borderlands with bats.
I hope so, a game reminiscent of Inglorious Bastards isn't a bad thing at all, in fact I think it could be downright awesome. But for an IP like Brothers in Arms...? Hell no.
Hmmm, that makes sense to be honest, quite like what they did with the booster packs on BF2. Thank god, I was thinking for a second there that EA was seriously going to go the COD Elite route...Also, this 5th pack that keeps popping up in discussing intrigues me...not the first time I've heard of a rumor for a 5th pack...perhaps this could actually be the also-rumored 2143?
@Strykarr Honestly, I haven't had an issue with D3 since the launch day fiasco. Just recently beat Normal (like 2 or 3 hours ago). So I'm pretty sure the US servers are stable by now.
From what I understand, no one (sadly) makes a return from the first 2 games. The comic panel style has been taken out in favor for 'motion comic cutscenes' (although it would've been nice if they brought at least those back). The gameplay in general has been tweaked, cover plays a little more of a role but you'll easily be punished for staying in cover for too long (AI is pretty smart in mp3, well, smarter than the scripted AI in 1 and 2). Yes, they're a lot of guns, the count escapes me but there is a variety. Painkillers are back so there is no health regen. The rest I couldn't tell you, but I doubt there's any customization or branching choices outside of the multiplayer.
@Ibra8 As the two before me have said, if you can definitely play 1&2. If you have a decent computer, you can get them off of steam for like 10 bucks, which is more than worth it for the two of them (I think there's actually a bundle where you can get both for 15)
