If people want to see female protags in games besides a few token ones then girls are going to need to be a bigger consumer base and actually buy video games instead of whine on the internet all day about them not being inclusive enough.
@horselessheadsm @DrYnot You think incorrectly. Games in a lot of ways are about wish fulfillment and projection. Not a lot of guys wish to be women. That "I want to see a hot girl's ass while I run" excuse was always weak; there's a reason most people made male Shepards in Mass Effect and it didn't have anything to with asses.
It blows my mind this was even a story. The game has all male protagonists because the people buying the game are mostly male. So goddamned sick of identity politics. Play terrible games like Gone Home if all you want is progressivism for the sake of progressivism.

@LittleSaintGoph @DrYnot It's not even that. I don't play console games online because, and I'm putting this as gently as I can, the online console playerbases are mostly composed of retards. I just dislike wireless lag and think wired is better. Seems less floaty to me.
Well that sucks. I always find those lights to be distracting and useless, like putting neon lights under a car. There's also absolutely no reason for there to be a speaker. The Wii did that and the only use I ever saw it get put through was simulating cell phone calls in No More Heroes, something that could easily be done on the screen without putting a damn speaker in the control and passing the cost on to the consumer. I hope it at least has a power cord: wireless always seems to lag to me and I hate hate HATE having to recharge a controller.
