[QUOTE="DrPepper1998"][QUOTE="kidrock17xp"]why not just rent it and beat it, it' snot like it's got online or anything to keep you playing afterwardskidrock17xp
It's got multiplayer-and I have friends over all the time.

ah, well i'd say get it will likely be the better fps game so far, although I know that's not saying much

Amen, Call of Duty 3 was overrated. No way that game with such terrible terrible graphics should get a 7.9 from IGN. It was attrocious.

Just wanted to add this qoute from Matthew Pruit at www.planetmedalofhonor.com: "After about twenty minutes, I was throwing grenades and shooting like a pro. Playing Vanguard on the Wii was probably the most fun I have ever had playing a game on a console."

Have any game sites reviewed Medal of Honor: Vangaurd? I'm pretty cheap and I have the opportunity to go buy it tomorrow, but I'm the kind of guy who hangs on every word of a reliable review. So I'm not about to blow 50 smackaroos on a WW2 FPS. It looks promising but, I need a reccomendation. Any reviews anywhere on the internet?

[QUOTE="Teufelhuhn"][QUOTE="DrPepper1998"]Here's What I Got: PS2: CPU: 128-bit "Emotion Engine" clocked at 294 MHz GCN: CPU: PowerPC Gekko, 485 MHz Okay, does the fact that the GCN have a higher MHz mean better graphics?

Ehh...not quite. The key to the GameCube's power is all in its GPU (Graphics Processing Unit) and in its RAM.  See, the PS2 had a very interesting and capable CPU, but in the long run its GPU was pretty weak.  The GCN GPU, however, was quite nice in that it had 4 TEV's (Texture EnVironment engines).  These TEV's were basically like the early Pixel Shaders you had on the GeForce video cards at time, in that they allowed developers to program them to some various math operations on each pixel as they were drawn to the screen.  However the GCN did lack aproper Vertex Shader, instead using a fixed-function transform and lighting (T&L) pipeline similar to the PS2.  What's also notable is that althought the GCN really had less main memory than the PS2 (24MB vs. 32MB), the GCN's superior bandwidth made the memory more usable and effective in many situations.

Anyway if you really wanna sum that up, just say that the GCN had kick-ass GPU for the time.  :P

Alright, what if I show him that post and he says "WAHHHHH HE COULD BE LYING I WANT A SOURCE!" ? Like I know he will cause he cant accept hes wrong..

LET ME CLARIFY THIS:
PS2: CPU: 128-bit "Emotion Engine" clocked at 294 MHz
GCN: CPU: PowerPC Gekko, 485 MHz
Is the fact that the GCN has higher MHz mean it's got the better CPU?

[QUOTE="DrPepper1998"]Okay, My friend can't accept known facts apparently. So he won't trust me that the Ps2 had less graphical power than the GCN. Can you all help me tell him that the GCN had more graphical capability?asmallchild
I think you both need to go on dates. As quickly as possible.

Nah, he's just acting like a moron.
