and would like to buy a game or ten.

I have a GeForce 9400M graphics card, 2 GB of memory, 2 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processor, and 256 MB VRAM.

Any recommendations?

I want to know so I can disable some shaders on Republic Commando.

Pardon my newbness, I'm not so used to working with PCs. Laugh before you post.

No. The difference, you see, is that zero sucks horribly.

Hmm. I would rent MAG first, if you could. They're both different experiences.

I've been playing a "Best of Star Wars PC" collection lately, and all of them are running fine on my Mac (runs through boot camp, windows XP) except for Republic Commando. I install it, I get to the menu screen, I start a new game and once it fully completes the loading screen it freezes. But it doesn't just break the game, it breaks my whole mac. I can't go on either of the windows of mac paritions, they start up then freeze. I need to do a safe boot on my mac parition to end it.Its on the same disk as Battlefront and Jedi Knight II so the disk isn't the problem. And the system requirements are above recommended, so I don't have a clue what to do.

Has anyone encountered this problem before?
