Funny thing is, the first 2 years PlayStation came out, it literally had fewer exclusives. Sony even admitted it, yet highlighted the great number of the 3rd party games with its slightly more powerful ps4 over xbox. But for some reason that didn't seem to bother gamespot. For some reason gamespot always seems to give ps4 a pass. Well for those doubters, there are plenty of 3party games and some exclusives to get you started on your xbox one x. don't listen to this ignorant writer, who is obviously very biased toward sony. Make up your own mind.
@chaazin: Blaise' point probably being, had it not been on PS4 and strictly on XOne. It probably would have received an 8. But again this is all perception. No offense.
@blaise0fgl0ry: Blaise, I totally agree with you. I totally thought the exact same thing. I recall the Gears 4 review and thought it was a little too harsh. Gears 4 is definitely a great game and maybe not a 9 but definitely not a 7. I played Titanfall 2's tech test and beta and I was a little sad and decided I would not get the game. It just didn't feel fluid as the first and the Titans were rather week and not fun at all as the first. I simply played Pilot mode but might as well play COD or Halo if that's the case. I'm surprised they didn't knock a few point for the short campaign and for it been as frenetic as the first.
I really loved the first Titanfall and I probably am going to get this game after seeing a deal on amazon for 90$ that includes the game and a Xbox One S Controller(the new one). However I don't really want to because I'm torn.
I also agree with you on the whole Bias thing with Sony and always underwhelming Microsoft game reviews. But I guess that could be perception but it seems consistent. Hard to say.
It does have a single player. And I'm glad the campaign is short because I don't like to spend too much time on single player because I love Multiplayer.
First off I don't like crack. Second don't make fun of Helen Keller,, i think she's wonderful and i'm pretty sure they didn't have video games back then but you might have a different source. And I don't know what kind of TV you have but on my HDTV it looks amazing. Every time I watched those Halo videos online, i thought to myself i guess it looks OK. But when i see the actual game on my TV, it's a whole other world. Your turn...
VISUALLY STUNNING --- OK, I briefly skimmed through the written review but i did see the entire Video Review. I'm currently playing Halo 5 and it is a lot of fun. But you know what. The reviewer didn't mention how stunning the single player looks. The visuals too me are the Best I've seen Next Gen Console. Halo 3's visuals were good. Halo 4 was really good in Master Chief Collection. But playing Halo 5 visuals are absolutely stunning. If people are so concerned with 1080p 60 frames visuals, then this is the game. Because visually i was floored and although the reviewer said the AI was bad ( not sure if he is talking about Enemy AI or friendly AI which i don't really pay too much attention to) the enemy graphics and details are so much better. The Jackal looking enemies are scarier looking more so than any of the others, especially how they jump at you. Even those little trolly characters who i never liked and just there for cannon fodder are scarier. And the weapons are really awsome. More so than before. Even the enemy weapons are fun which i usually avoid cause i think they are kind of cheesy. But i like to play with friends coop and Multiplayer which makes it so much fun. I'm not the biggest Halo fan ( I love coop and played the heck out of MCC multiplayer) and traditionally been all about Call of Duty but that last 2 entries have been atrocious...
One note. The multiplayer visuals as all multiplayer visuals in all games are obviously not as good as the single player game. But that is to be expected. Still the multiplayer visuals are much better than MCC's Halo 4.
My only complaint as in all Halo's is that they gives very limited ammo for your loud outs in the single player. Ammo runs out to quickly. Need more ammo...Give us more ammo. How can i get more ammo...
I agree with everything you said and I don't think anybody could have said it better. This game just looks like a lot of fun. I've never played God of War, Sony's much touted 3rd person hack and slasher, but to me this game looks quite awesome. And never having really played many third person hack and slash games, because I've never been interested in them, I couldn't begin to pretend I understand what is a good or bad game mechanics.
I usually play games like Call of Duty, Gears, Halo, Battlefield, Rockband, Kinect games and a variety of others. The Camera angles and 300 style graphics look very cinematic, reminding me of 300 and that's what I I think makes this game different from many others. I'm going to buy this game and enjoy it for what it is. I appreciate your comment vackillers....
