How satisfied can you really be with any of your kills when there's a decent possibility that the only reason you won that fight is because the other guy's hits weren't registering, he wasn't aware you were shooting at him until you had killed him, or because your client wasn't yet updated about the fact that he had moved back into cover?
If that's your angle then you can never be satisfied with a kill in games like BF, COD etc, because they don't require the twitch- and aim skills of... well, twitch shooters. A kill in Counter Strike is indefinitely more satisfying than in these games because CS is much harder and you know that if you killed someone, it was because you were better than him, not anything else.
That being said, I am enjoying the hell out of BF3 and think it's a great game.

It's not a secret that MW3 tries to remove as many features from a single game as possible to see what kind of... uh, "people" still buy their worthless crap game.
If people didn't happily throw money at anything with the words "modern" and "warfare" in it, maybe we'd actually get some good FPS again soon
The SC2 community is amazing. I don't mean to sound rude, but it will take you a good 5-10 minutes of research to get a basic buildorder you can practise. This thread is pointless; if you had Google'd instead you would find around ONE TRILLION BILLION Starcraft 2 newbie pointers, guides, tips & tricks etc etc.
Go to YouTube and find a basic build order. Follow that every game (write it down on a piece of paper and practise it). That's all you need to do.
As Day9 once said: if you know one build and you're good at that build, then you're good at SC2. If you know many builds and perform them averagely, then you are average at SC2.
I just received the retail box from Amazon today, and I have to say, this is the worst retail game box I have ever encountered. It is in one of those thin DVD cases, first of all. Secondly, the plastic of the case is very thin and flimsy. It does a less than satisfactory job at protecting the game DVD. Third, and worst, is that there is no printed manual. There is a card saying that the digital manual is on the DVD. I know that I didn't order the collector's edition, but this is ridiculous.
I was at least expecting a sturdy DVD box and a printed manual, but I will have to admit, this is still better than the digital download.
