This is GTA and Rockstar wants it to be offensive, and everyone knows it will be and to say that's one of the game's deficits doesn't make sense. You think the game has some cons? Fine. But that one con is just dumb. It's like buying a puppy and becoming shocked and angry when it craps in your house, what did you expect?
"Profoundly misogynistic". Really? REALLY?? This is GTA for crying out loud, was she seriously expecting a respectable game glorifying women? Gamespot just gets lamer and lamer with their reviews, always trying to prove that they don't give out top scores lightly. Her opinion is fine of course, but using misogyny as a con for Grand Theft Auto is just laughable, and I mean that in an un-sexist way.
I'm still speechless at how insanely fast this game became boring because it was so awesome at first, it just got harder and harder to log-in every single day. I've seen people saying the same thing a couple of weeks ago and didn't think it was possible, but now I'd have to agree with them. I'm not gonna sit here and bash it because it is a solid mmorpg, but it just does not have the long-term likeability crucial to an mmorpgs survival. In MY opinion!!
MMORPGs are indeed my favorite genre, but this is their one downside. I paid hard-earned money for their game, and these rules make it feel like I'm in elementary school. Lucky for me I have no interest in creating offensive names and running around cursing people out. Yeah I agreed to their terms, but those particular rules have always irked me. Now on the other hand, banning hackers who ruin the game is completely acceptable.
