[QUOTE="Defudge"]For me, Fable wasn't crappy because of its length (Though I do like long games), nor because of how it failed to live up to the hype (Which I read none of), but the actual gameplay itself. Compared to a game like Jade Empire, its gameplay falls short. Sure, you have the "living world," but that's really just a novelty. On topic, UC2 and Jade Empire should have been must-haves, imo.wellfeedmonkey

Jade Empire's gameplay is much better on harder difficulty levels, and Fable, for some reason, lacks those difficulty levels. The spells are more or less all unique, but most are pointless; you'll only be using/maxing out a few that are truly helpful. You can max out all of them anyway, the game is easy enough for it. As for the martial arts forms, they actually affect the gameplay, unlike Fable's world. They're different enough that they all have their own use. That, and Fable just phails as an RPG, it's more like a hack and slash.
