@ default 750/900 clocks?

TrentDondasKhan

No, 600/900

Does the problem happen at defaults?

Yeah, it does.
Sorry for the late response, I was out of town.

Hm. That's odd. Is it overclocked in any way? Even pre-overclocked cards can have stability issues.

TrentDondasKhan

No, the clocks are as low as they will go.

My PSU is 850watts.
I don't know the model number of my monitor, but it says HP w19 , my refresh rate is set to 60hz

I'm using the latest drivers as far as I know.

I recently purchased an HD4870 a few days ago,
and it is decent, however, I noticed with several high-end games, within a few minutes of gameplay a white screen ends up appearing on my monitor.

Sometimes this screen will say (input not supported); other times it doesn't.
The audio also cuts off as well.

Could this be due to my card overheating?
I've cranked up the fan speed, and I'm still having the same problem.

I feel like giving up on PC gaming altogether due to all the hardware problems I've been having.

I personally dislike anime; I just don't find it enjoyable to watch. There are a few good ones, but even those have their moments that are just weird, and almost all of them have some kind of major flaw (such as excessive dialogue or monotonous plotline) that prevents me from watching it entirely.

I'm not an atheist. I'm too open-minded to reject the idea of a higher power out of hand.

OrkHammer007

Ha, and basing your beliefs on a book (though I'm not implying you are) or on an ancient idea of a supreme being makes you open-minded?

Nearly every religion out there is closed-minded due to the fact that they base their moral values on a book that was written centuries or milleniums ago by flawed, sinful human beings. If you are just a deist and believe in a god, but don't follow organized religion, then that's a different story, however, it is the same closed-mindedness as atheism.

Your post was epic man.

I am an Atheist because I feel most comfortable with being one. I can't submit myself to a god that allows such terrible things to happen in the world that occur every day. If there was a god, I would much rather burn for eternity than worship him.

A shame I'm only limited to one person;
why not eliminate all of mankind? Pretty flawed design anyway.
