[QUOTE="Silenthps"]Murder = is when a human kills another human, not when God kills a human. And it's evil since it's a sin against God. Silenthps

God committing genocide is good? What happened to free will?

The will of the Lord is always good. And just to be sure, no a person cannot in this day go around killing people and saying God told him to do it. The way God dealt with His people in the old dispensation is different than today.

The will of the lord is ALWAYS good, yet he had to change his old ways?
If he had to make a change then that implies that he made a mistake.
Thus, the will of the lord is not ALWAYS good.

[QUOTE="UT_Wrestler"] He gave humans free will. You can't love unless you are choosing to love instead of hate.

UT_Wrestler

God is all-knowing according to the bible.
Therefore he knows your every belief, every action, and every step you will take in life.
This means that he also knows whether you will live in eternal happiness or eternal suffering.
He knows this before you are even born.

So, essentially, if I am going to hell, god planned it, which nullifies the "free will" concept.

I take it you aren't familiar with the new testament?

Depends what you mean by that.
Yes, I know that the new testament generally talks about Jesus, and how he changed the world and such.
No, I have not read it, simply because no one has ever given me a logical explanation as to why god is so violent in the old one.

[QUOTE="th3warr1or"] Yes. The same way if you spent 12hours fixing a puzzle, you have the right to mess it up. If someone else does it, you punch him. UT_Wrestler

The Bible says that god is perfect.
If he had to wipe out the human race, than he must've screwed something up, which makes him imperfect.

He is evil because he defied God. End of story.

God can commit genocide to his own creations multiple times, but he's still the nice guy, right?

Knowing this, I see nothing morally wrong with defying god.

The Atomic Bomb is undoubtedly the best solution to this pesky problem!

While I personally am an atheist, I remember in my Christian days I would often question what biblical references are made to support the notion that "Satan is EVIL!"

Two things NOT to say:
1. "Satan doesn't exist." While I would personally agree with you on this matter, I am specifically looking for biblical references which entertain the notion that "Satan is EVIL."

2. "Because God said so." Again, I want biblical citations that support his immorality.

Give world in Conflict a go, it's pretty noob friendly :) I'm sure plenty of others ont his forum would agree...Same_Jeans_On

I think I downloaded the demo for it a long time ago and thought it was pretty fun. I'm not sure if I agree with the rating GS gave it though...
I'll give that a shot though.

I've been gaming since I was four years old, and oddly enough, I've hardly even touched an RTS in my life. I played a little bit of AoE3 and C&C Zero Hour, but that's really it.

I want to start playing RTS's and give them a fair chance, in hopes I'll find something that interests me.
