[QUOTE="Dasc00"][QUOTE="zakkro"][QUOTE="Dasc00"][QUOTE="Carlos_Santana"][QUOTE="nickmag"]it doesn't matter how slim the odds are of it happening.. if the universe is infinite then there is life on other planetszakkro
We don't really know if the universe is infinite, and if the big bang theory is true, and there wasn't an infinite amount of different big bangs in our universe, then we cannot be 100% positive
May I add that the universe is not infinite, just unbound. But still...it's huge. Plus, there is evidence poitning towards the big bang anyways, so whatever.
You can't say that, because really, you don't know. If you said, I believe..., or I highly believe...
then that would have been better.
If there's an edge, it's not infinite But it's unbound....the rate of it's expansion that is. The moment you'd get to the edge, it wouldn't be the edge..
If? OK, well I was saying that you stated it as a statement. While that could be true, you'll never know.
That's why saying "I believe" or "Highly believe" would have been a better sentence starter.
You know I mean that right?
