It's sad that the government has to intervine in our games now, but unfortunately it had to be like this because the gaming industry keeps using this disgusting practices.
@darktruth007: I agree about the story, it was horrible; however, if you ignore that part you will find it is still an amazing game. I loved the combat system and the mechanics back in the day, with over 100 hours of gameplay (doing the sidequests of course).
It seems that GameFreak fails to realice that most of the players are children who can't use online services...I helped with 20 pokemon, but I was aware that it was very likely that the event would fail.
@wexorian: They got money for every download made in PS+. That is a deal that Sony has with every developer that allows their games to appear in PS+ for "free". Of course, the amount of money they get is unknown for the public, it's probably not a big amount, but they still get money...unlike pirated games.
@yogibbear: They won't. If people complete the pokedex too soon, they will stop playing the game too soon. They need people to keep playing the game and buying in-game items. The removal of trackers was a bussiness decission.
