[QUOTE="DarkDeadlyCages"]It's great that all you guys are "Done" with Halo 3....games are freakin meant to be fun not a competition for what you should play at any one time. Systems exist to have more than 1 game played on it. I'm gonna be a "rebel" I suppose and I'm going to*GASP* GET READY! Buy Vegas 2 and still play Halo 3 on XBL! I know I know, it's hard to believe, rather than choosing 1 FPS to play I'm going to play 2 interchangeably...wish me luck, because apparently this is a hard endevor.darksusperia
its not that its a hard endevour. its that swapping between halo 3 -> cod4 -> RB6V etc is all the same game, diff maps etc but essentially the same game.
swap from halo 3 -> GRAW, there is a big difference.
thats what I myself am getting at.
Basically, halo, cod all have the same feeling of, been there, done that. They dont really offer you any variation to the game play. sure theres different modes, but the gameplay is still the same.
GRAW is for the most part, diff mode = diff gameplay. sharpshooter, u can all run around like idiots and respawn as much as you want, sure it wont do much for your score tho.
LMS - try and run around, u'll last 2 secs from the moment you spawn.
Blind seige - you really need to work as a team here, one man army wont get you anywhere.
U see my point?
Indeed. All I'm trying to say is why people feel the need to "drop" games for another one? I can understand if it's years old like playing COD4 over Halo 2, I would do that, but I can't seem to udnerstand why games for the saem console have to compete all the time. You don't have to go trade in Gears, GRAW, Halo 3 and COD4 for Vegas 2, instead you can play all of them or a few of them at the same time period, You don't need to sell or drop a game just because you got a new one of the same genre, especially an FPS game, where multiplayer is the bulk of the purchase you made.
It just seems like people love saying "I'm selling Halo 3 lulz" or "Don't buy Frontlines Vegas 2 is coming out lulz!"...but in reality...it's a game for a console, you're actually allowed to have more than 1 game at a time. Why choose 1 when you can interchangably play both, or more?
