We have about a month until the next Xbox's reveal and probably confirmation for this always online rumor. For the most part, both gamers and journalists are lamenting this choice but we are not seeing explosive anti-always online coverage. This needs to be the headline after the announcement, not specs, not killer apps, not games.
We need to mobilize somehow to create a purely toxic environment for Microsoft on this subject to where it is brought up in every interview, is blasted on every forum and social media site until they back down from this anti consumer 'feature'.
Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions for us to mobilize as a gaming community, not just Gamespot's forums, to push this conversation to the brink? The gaming journalists are going to tip toe this issue for their exclusive interviews and content, which their whole business model is based around; but if EVERY journalist and every site rip this apart, the negative effect on these organizations will be nullified.
So, long story short - weve got one month to unite gamers against this bullshit and to ensure that negative always online criticism is the FOCUS of the announcement coverage, not the narrative about power and games Microsoft wants... any ideas?
Thanks for taking the time to read, take care guys!
