It would have been awkward if it was analog it would have had a TH Downhill Jam feel to it but the board gives a unique feel to it. THPS3 was easily the best in the entire franchise
It's that people hate doing work when playing games, I love playing motion controlled games and peripheral based games like Ride (Which is great)

unresponsive controllers are great? oh yeah I forgot that part...the motion controllers are 99% of the times awfully innacurate and unresponsive...I almost destroyed by wii while I was playing zelda TP and wii sports. and tony hawk ride sucks because the controllers are extremely unresponsive, it could have been good with a regular controller
It responded great when I played it and Ride is a great game and extremely underrated, it would have sucked using a regular controller.
