Well any game with an AO rating wont' have a future on the wii. "*Please note that Nintendo does not sell or license games that carry the ESRB rating "AO" (Adults Only)."
Nintendo's neither selling nor licensing it, so that doesn't matter.

Gamespot is always way off on their reviews vs. user scores, they just don't know how to review the Wii for its userbase. They're usually spot-on for 360/PS3 scores compared to user scores.
Link and Zelda always have the same names with different background stories, I guess that means each Zelda game is actually a new IP and not a sequel! Let's not get into the Final Fantasy games which actually have different characters but are still sequels based in the same franchise. Even if Ryu had a different name it'd still be based on the original NES game even if it incorporated elements from DOA.
Just for reference, Wii sold 1M in PAL areas in about 6 weeks, while 360 took about 16 weeks. Both were supply-constrained the entire time in most areas.
