I agree with Bubsy 3D, what a load of balls (pardon my French).
My biggest flop would have to be Call of Duty 3 (360 and others, but mainly 360). The game did absolutely nothing with the success of CoD2 and (yes, there was a different developer) its gameplay changes were so out of place. The graphics were washed out and blurry, the animations were inflamatory and the story was bogus for a WWII game. Thank goodness Infinity Ward is back behind CoD4.
My second flop would have to be Oblivion, wait, did I say Oblivion? I meant Medal of Honour: Rising Sun (yes I'm all about WWII shooters, but you really need to get this right, or else you have Hour of Victory). MOH:RS is a complete belly-ache of a game when compared to it's primary predecessor, MOH Frontline, which was a fantasticly involving experience. MOH RS follows the less enticing side of WWII, the Iwo Jima conflict, and most of the missions are drab and tedious, and up until the abysmal final level and attrocious ending, everything else is pretty standard, which is not what you want from a WWII game, which is meant to enthrawl you in the brutal reality of war.
End of rant.
Short but sweet. Welcome chaosmakerX, enjoy your stay.
Call of Duty 2, 3, 4, Splinter Cell: Pandroa Tomorrow/Chaos Theory/Double Agent/Conviction, The Elder Scrolls: Daggerfall/Morrowind/Oblivion, Medal of Honour: Underground/Frontline/Rising Sun/European Assault/Airborne/Heroes 2, Half-Life 2, Conflict: Desert Storm 2/Vietnam/Global Terror/Denied Ops, Battlefield 2/Bad Company.
Stuck mainly to XBOX and X360 titles, but thats all I can be bothered to do at this moment in time. Maybe later :)
Hello, my name is Max. I'm a (currently) small time director of theatre productions and budget price films. I also work in GAME, ASDA and I help some guy sell laptops. I often do oddjobs around town to help pay for camera crews etc. Gaming wise I own an Xbox 360 and Wii both w/ online. If you want to add me online I'm very open so just go ahead and add me (XBL GT and Wii FC in sig and on blog). I see alot of potential in this union, I enjoy sequels, both in games, films and books.
I am currently not directing anything, meaning I will be more active than usual. I am, however, searching for financing for 3 of my original titles. I'm reading Johnny Depp's biography (just so you know:))
