Specs below,

i have followed in instructions to install this damn PCI card. It's a Level One WNC-0300 Wireless adaptor. I have installed the ultility without the card installed (followed instruction manual pdf) then installed it then tried to install the drivers that i downloaded from the website (correct drivers if you were wondering) but everytime it installs er5211.sys file my PC suddenly freezes and i have to restart it then i have to use restore point.

I have tried about 50 friggin times but no luck. I'm not sure weather my Motherboard does not support this, funny thought it worked on my old AGP board. i have no damn clue what to do i need to get it to work as my PC usually sits in the gaming room but the modem is in the kitchen, so at the monment the PC is on the kitchen table and i'm furious as i'm missing out playing BF2142 with free unlocks this weekend.

Hopefully you experts can help me.

[QUOTE="Crescenzio"]their won't be an issue having a less performance card as i only have a 19"widescreen LCD so i guess i won't be gaming at expreme screen res. Just so long i can play BF2142 and Oblivion at decents graphics.9mmSpliff
with the 7900gs from Gainward you will max out those games at that resolution. Give you an idea, the Devs from Crysis said they ran the game on high settings with a 7800gtx. Now thats no AA or AF I am sure and it was on teh 256mb I am sure.

sounds promising....in reguards to Vista are you saying that i can't game using a 7900GS? or can i use dx10 and run games using dx9 cards

my specs are below but i haven't decided on the card, the cards across the road are at good prices and i managed to get the Intel E6600 for the same price as the E6400. It all came into budget of about $1,250 US

Hi guys i'm about to purchase my new video card next week and i've been put into abit of a rut. I need some answers to what card is better in gaming performance. Both cards seem to be fairly good branded and in terms of looks far better than most other brand for this range. The gainward is a 512MB/256MB card and the XFX is a 256MB/256MB card both with DDR3. The only difference is i can see is that the gainward has slighly higher clock speeds and has great overclocking potential. But the XFX seems to be the most popular brand around for this card and well put together + sexier...lol Please direct me in the right direction. I've added the links for the brands of each card, please with the XFX tell me which one is the better out of the extensive range as they all look the damn same to me. My Budget is $300 Australian so not sure what the US dollar is but i'm guessing around $230- 240. Cheers - link below http://www.gainward.net/products/product.php? products_id=71 http://www. xfxforce.com/web/product/listCo...roductId=638341
