Thanks for the advice guys... The reason Why I went with a more powerful cpu is because it was actually more cost effective to buy the cpu with the mobo bundled together at my local store, I was able to get both for 500.

My plan is to MOST DEFINATELY upgrade to either 2 GTX 760s and ultimately 2 770s over the course of two years or so. With that said I definately wanted to make it as effortless as possible when I do this. When I was picking out the PSU I wanted to keep in mind that ultimately I will be definately running two cards by christmas :)

One feature on the motherboard I kinda like is that it has these red LED lights that when my pc is on, makes me feel like god.

Would you reccomend that I spend 70 more dollars and upgrade to a GTX 770 with 4gb ?

If when you rate it consider the value per dollar spent aspect. That was right at my budget.

So I am upgrading from my laptop and going back to the good old desktop.

Here is my new rig.

It is an HP p7 pavillion tower that I bought from micro center but had some upgrades done.

AMD A8 processor

16 gig ddr3 @ 1333 mhz

120 gig SSD

1.5 TB hdd @ 5400rpm

HD Radeon 6850 and I am told it is crossfired with the HD Radeon 6550D that was in the tower

600 watt power supply

ASUS 24" LED monitor with built in webcam, speakers, microphone

$1100
