Since everyone here is prejudiced to one side or the other, I will give the truth. Both the DayZ mod and WarZ are terrible. For DayZ, wait till standalone, approximately 2-3 months. For WarZ, wait till it has everything they promised, approximately 3 months.
This is coming from someone who has poured countless hours into both games and, honestly, has mastered both games. Now, I can't play either game because they are just boring. I do play DayZ 2017, which is a mod of DayZ. You should check it out if you REALLY want to play DayZ.
High end graphics are not needed to be a good game. They just make the game prettier to me.Don't get me wrong, I prefer games that look phenomenal but they truly aren't needed. I remember when Rainbow Six Vegas 2 came out, critics slammed it because some of the textures weren't entirely all there. No matter, I put like 1000 hours into that game because the gameplay was solid. Games should be about the gameplay not the graphics.
I sound like an analyst that likes the extrovert games. I hate monotonous games that lack skill to play. I also like games that just force you to learn your own way. Difficult games are my gig. However, I despise puzzle games because they bore me to death!
I want to upgrade to a Fanatec wheel but not financially able to right now. I personally use a Madcatz MC2 Wired Xbox 360 wheel and for the $60 price tag, I love it. It looks incredibly cheap, but feels pretty good. After 6 months it's still going strong regardless of reviews saying it breaks after 2 weeks.
If you are just getting into the sim racing scene, aka Forza 4, then I would recommend starting off cheap. Never buy wirelss though. That tiny milisecond delay will kill you.
I don't understand why all these games are doing the CoD thing where 2 devs make 2 separate games with the same IP. Like Forza, CoD, Dirt, and now Hitman?? Forza Horizon and Dirt Showdown are a perfect examples of a good series being bastardized.
