PS3 and PS4 Only

ICU has been around since Modern Warfare 2. We love Call of Duty, and we love playing together. We have no skill requirements. We play to have fun. We play to win.

Join us if:

- You don't want random teammates anymore

- You want a clan that's part of Call of Duty Elite

- You want to win

ICU uses a simple strategy. In most Call of Duty games, we all use UAV/Spy Plane as a point streak. Since Ghosts is more complex, we all use SATCOM (score streak) and/or the Recon (perk). By doing this, everyone in the party can more easily find the enemy. Believe it or not, this strategy helps us win.

I think the issue is that TIMING TOO OFTEN MEANS NOTHING. Difficulty of a shot is already determined by skill rating (when my guy's ratings sucked, he rarely got an A+ shot selection, and I was always slightly early or late with timing). If you are good enough to have both an "Excellent" timing grade and "A+" shot selection, then your player should make the shot. I just played a game against the Pelicans where I set screens and had the PG pass me the ball for wide open spot-up shots, and had excellent timing & A+ ...only to miss badly all 4 times. My player didn't have the ice cubes over his head, nor was he tired. Why did I miss? Because an NBA player would miss 4 wide open 3 point shots in real life? I agree that 2K did this to make it "realistic"...but what's the point of having timing if it doesn't matter? It's like the game randomly makes you cold for no reason. Don't get me wrong, I've gotten pretty good. My player averages over 50 PPG. But it is annoying to miss wide open shots for no reason. And, ironically, my player always seems to toss up a brick as soon as the "on fire" icons pops up over his head.

Passing can be a joke. All too often, I will make a perfect pass and my teammate will miss an open layup, miss a dunk, or decide to wait for a defender to pick him up. It can be frustrating to try to get assists. I find that I mostly get them by passing to open 3 pt shooters, and not to anyone in the post or in transition.

Close games feel predetermined, and unpreventable. Because I do tend to score a lot, my teams score lots of points. So my games are either major blowouts OR close losses because the opponents can magically make 60% of their shots. Yes, the Pelicans just did this to me! Tyreke Evans turned into the love child of Michael Jordan and Ben Wallace...he hit 3's over close defense, zoomed past defenders for dunks, stole a ton of passes, blocked drives to the basket, stuck to my player like superglue if he took more than 2 steps with the ball. It was quite ridiculous. But I set screens, made some shots, forced fouls, and kept my team ahead by 1-3 points throughout the game. Then the AI decided that my teammates no longer wanted to pass me the ball in the last 3 minutes...and Tyreke put my team away.

TLDR: True, the game is made to be realistic. But shot timing should mean something...especially if you really are shooting a perfectly timed & wide open shot.

I wrote my review without considering the launch problems.  And I haven't encountered many bugs (only one that caused a big apartment building to get built on top of 3 smaller apartment buildings.  Anyway, here's the link:

I was upset when I tried playing and the tutorial wasn't working for like 30 minutes....then I figured out how to switch servers and it did.  Played perfectly for 5 hours after that.

The game is fun...though I need to get used to not seeing grids and filled zone colors.

In previous games, you selected zone densities (i.e. high density residential).  In this one, the type of road dictates density.

So, you need to "upgrade" the roads to "high density."  Click on the roads icon and one of the buttons by the advisor is to upgrade roads.  Highlighlight the stretch you want to upgrade & pay for it...then you'll see new construction in no time.

PCs will exist...it will just be that apps will be on the PC (which is how it is for Windows 8 already).  So TC is probably right.

If you want to be technical, it is illegal distribution of content (because you break copyright, trademark, and intellectual property rights...not to mention service agreements...when pirating games).  It doesn't matter if "Person A" is willingly sharing something they bought, because the company did not make an agreement with "Person A" to be a distributor of their content.  A company has a right to profit from the distribution of the content they produce.

A better middle school analogy is this: Johnny bought an issue of Penthouse magazine for himself from a newsstand.  Johnny made color copies of the Penthouse, then went in front of the newsstand and started handing them out for free to people that didn't feel like paying for their own Penthouse magazines.  Is it Johnny's "right" to make copies of his Penthouse magazine and give it out for free?  No.  Why not?  Because he's breaking copyright laws because Penthouse never agreed that he could be a publisher and manufacturer of their content.
