All I can say is the person who wrote this article couldn't be more wrong, the "games are art" argument is completely retarded. Games are art to a degree in the way anything created by anyone can be called "art" but the video game industry is... just that an industry. Its primary function is to create a product that consumers (IE gamers) deem worthy of consumption. If a car company released a car that was great in every way but every once in a while the roof would fly off and the engine burst into flames consumers would be very warranted to demand repairs or a replacement. That's the very same situation we have here the gaming community as a whole is upset that mass effect 3's roof has flown off! Now I feel its pointless to argue again about how the ending didn't make anything close to sense or how the shift in tone was so jarring its surprising that the game disc didn't break in two, all of these points have been stated again and again. The bottom line is when a company produces a product and a part of that product (no mater how small) has left 95% (according to the latest poles I've seen) of its consumer base unsatisfied there are serious problems and the company should be held accountable.

The point is that the graphics on both the 360 and PS3 are so close it makes no difference just pick the system that has the games you like and shut up! Ok my my point of view the differences here are so tiny that there is no way that if I asked you which is which there would be no way for you to know! so for gods sake stop crying over it! and to jtlander_uk stop **** about the "greater potential" of the PS3, until any games are made that can meet that potential, that "greater potential" is just wasted effort and a bigger price tag! And will any games come out that meet this "greater potential" NO! you know why GAME DEVELOPERS ARE LAZY! better graphics mean more work and if you cant tell to most game developers the idea now is "what shortcuts can we take to make that paycheck get in my bank faster!"
