First time watching The Point...well guess this and Reality Check will be the two reasons I still come back to Gamespot. Good vid, I agree 100% on really everything. Being a PC gamer and buying the consoles for the guilty pleasure of couch gaming has been a good battle in my years.
I love Sony since the first PS1 bought back in the day on to the next 3 as well. PS3 was a love hate relationship because my friends and I would always be gaming on the 360 just because of the more games on the system also that is where the community was. It wasn't till I picked up the Uncharted games where I fully understood why I had a PS3 in the first place.
I will buy an xbox one sometime in the future where they can show me why I must own one. Right now my needs are met and continually hope that MS has a few tricks up their sleeves (mainly games) to really pull me in. I just wish both consoles had more to offer game wise, yes we have plenty of games to play but nothing that grabs me as of yet. Here's to hoping something will come along and derail everything to make console gaming really shine! Until then game on brother!
@futureops You leave a big part of the story out, this little country you speak of united both north and south korea, (north Korea would be such a huge battle against the US, we would win no doubt but North Korea has a huge and close to one of the biggest, most powerful army next to the US, China, and Russia. They are no little guy) they invade China for their resources and continue to build their army and take over while uniting Asia as one Army.
They pretty much kick our ass, (if this happened in real life, we would be in very big trouble) and from there the game started losing steam pretty fast. I loved that intro, one of the best in video games I think. Such a strong story and it all got deflated too quickly after the opening credits. I am excited to see what they do, I know it wont be the best but at the time I had more fun playing this games online then the COD at the time.

@khardbored @CommanderTy yes but you have to admit, more innovation and risks then COD. It borrows many ideas just like most games do, but the fact was it is doing something rather than rolling over to get a splash of new paint like Ghosts.
I would have to say the hacking into players games is a somewhat fresh idea, (it has been done before but the way it works) Watch Dogs will be a better time consumer and probably in the long run more fun.
Guys hold on! Wait a minute! This dude is just trying to help himself sleep better at night, his pile of money he sleeps on is very uncomfortable and he just needs justification and to make sure he mentions all the good that they are doing before he can lay down at night.
Risks belong to risk takers like Watch Dogs, Titan Fall, The Division, hell I am sure GTA V and Battlefield 4 had more risk taking elements then you guys in to COD franchise.
This thread is hotter then hotcakes on Sunday morning! But I can agree the launch Titles are not where to stuff your money (looking at both and any console) its longevity. It will and always be about longevity! Show me why I should put down money for either console and I will go throw my money at them.
Same story ,different generation...I want results, show us why putting down money in the long run is better. Not an IP that is coming to my PC and Xbox one, or the same rehashed exclusives. (some exclusives are better then others) I want new and amazing!
