@DeViLzzz you better hope that the PS4 quality is better than most of the shit Sony has put out over the past year.

@Slade968 @TenraiSenshi @Chrypt22 @Blazen702 The way that it is being used in Titanfall has nothing to do with processing frames.

Think of it this way... In BF4 there are dedicated servers, those servers do much of the processing of behind the scene actions. Your system is responsible for the graphical content, your actions, etc. In Titanfall the servers are doing this except they are load balancing the dedicated servers which handle the connections to Microsoft cloud servers which handle NPC actions. The bandwidth needed is purely between the dedicated server and Microsoft. The way that the cloud is being utilized has nothing to do with the players bandwidth.

@Furwings Couldn't agree with you more. Funny thing is that the fanboys for PS4 can't even tell you what features the OS has or what it even looks like. I am not going to pass judgement on what the PS4 OS is or is not because all there is to go on is rumors and a few screenshots, though their silence should have people wondering why or what is wrong.

@Slade968 @Blazen702 Lets think. 360, Windows PC, and XB 1. All Microsoft products, all utilize the Microsoft cloud. See a trend? Say what you will about the XB 1, not liking the Kinect, whatever... Microsofts cloud tech is much, much better than anything Sony has in place. So no, the way Titanfall was built and how it utilizes Microsoft servers to run background processes cannot be done on current Sony cloud infrastructure.

@TenraiSenshi @Blazen702 Take a look at the messages below... 99% of them are Sony bitches flaming the XB 1 most of which have no idea what they are talking about nor can come up with an opinion of their own.

@bluefox755 And yet Apple products are so popular...

I get that some people are upset over the Kinect, and they are arrogant in forcing that upon people. Kinect aside I don't really get what is wrong with the system as a whole. So they added features in that integrates with television... who cares? Last time I checked the Kinect is the only thing that separates a PS4 and XB1 other than launch titles.

@Tiger_Ali @lmlf Soooo what youre saying is that people should have to pay to have their personal information protected? Nope. Personally, after that fiasco with Sony I no longer trust them. Their corporate ethics in this regard and what they did to some of the employees was very disturbing. So for me its no PS4.

@pr56 As far as the cloud goes; youre right, anyone can have the ability to create their own cloud, and cloud is a very vague term thrown around loosely and no one really understands what is meant by it. Amazon's infrastructure, vs Microsoft infrastructure, vs Sony is completely different. Sure they all say cloud but what each does serves a different purpose.

From my understanding is that Sony's cloud is mainly for storage and streaming services. Most of which is offloaded to a third party so Sony isn't really providing the service. Microsoft has a huge upper-hand in this regard as their cloud services are owned by them and leased to dev's based on their needs. Take Titan Fall for example. Titanfall utilizes Microsofts servers to run back end processes and run some of the persistent "online" features that are present in the game (i.e. NPC's and multiplayer services). This may seem small, but in reality it is a huge boost for anyone that is an online gamer since you are not relying on matchmaking with someones console being a host and having to process that extra data... which causes lag. It is an example where a game like Titanfall just won't fit into Sony's system of how multiplayer is handled.

I think the TV thing is hit or miss... I watch some TV, but not a lot. Though it will be nice to control it all through one system instead of having to go back and forth between inputs. Each system has its own 'thing' and I dont think we will fully understand all of the features until we get our hands on it. Some of the gripes on both systems will probably end up in an, "ohh yeahhh... that is pretty cool"

@Pie_FOREVER because every article showing the XB 1 or Microsoft in a positive light must have been paid for by MS? You realize how ridiculous you sound right?

@rarson Youre right.. it is all in the software... and its very powerful software. As far as the projector goes, not sure I entirely agree... if it was just a simple projector, then yes.. but to have one that matches the room, screen, and provide the affects it does and match the response of the TV.... The projector would also have to have a camera that detects depth to accurately display the additional projection. To say it would cost thousands is probably a bit far fetched, but it wouldn't be cheap.
