If I put a regular 7200 RPM 3.5 SATA internal HD into a USB 3.0 external enclosure and transfer data through a 3.0 USB port, will it go at 3.0 speeds? Or does the HD need to be a specific kind, like a SSD or something?
I don't even think that the GTX 275 is in production anymore. I know this because I've been looking for one to SLI with, and it's been discontinued due to heating problems. If you find one now a days, it's probably either used or refurbished. Definately go with the 460.
So aside from my GPU being a little hot ( I'm running two moniters ) do you guys see anything wrong with these temps? I just bought a new CPU so I might just not be used to having a quad core, but should it be running this hot?
I understand that ^ , however my new mobo is going to support 16GB's of RAM, and so I want to start moving forward in getting single 4GB sticks. Let me try CPU Z and see how it turns out. I'll check back, thanks for all the help guys.
Okay, first off, anyone ( at the top of their head ) know of a free program that will tell me the RAM type ( 1333 / 1066 etc ) I haveon my computer? I know it's DDR3 but I don't know the standard...
Also, is it possible to put a 4 GB stick of DDR3 RAM with like.. 2 other 2 GB sticks? I'll clarify furtherif that confuses anyone.
