@zzanzabar You can play solo mode offline as either the monster or a hunter on an AI team. As a hunter, you can switch between all four characters on the fly using the d-pad. Confirmed!

@evilace_stealth @Chris_Watters We've been having that discussion in the office as well, there are definitely some skeptics. To be honest, I'm not sure we'll be able to tell ahead of release what kind of legs the game will have, though maybe the Xbox One beta in January will give us a better idea.

@zzanzabar Three monsters are included in the game, DLC will bring more. You will be able to fight against DLC monsters even if you don't own them, so you don't need to buy DLC to play with friends who have it. All new maps will be free.

There is no local splitscreen, but there is solo play. Pretty sure solo can be played offline, but I'll check with the PR team to confirm.
