CoD4's Veteran mode is far more legit than previous CoD ones. I beat CoD4 on Veteran for my first playthrough. I tried the same with CoD3. No chance in hell... couldn't get past the first firefight.
CoD4's Veteran mode is hard, but it's not THAT bad.
There will always be glitches in the marketing strategy, even if it's from megacorporations like MS. These minor things won't affect MS's net profit in the long run as long as they don't accumulate.
GTA4 and Ninja Gaiden 2 should definitely be on your top 3. Vegas 2 will be good but the price is likely to drop for that game (something about Tom Clancy games make their prices drop really fast)
Avoid Turok unless it's for a rental. Supreme Commander and World In Conflict can wait I think. Star Wars FU is not worth waiting for I don't think. Dark Messiah... meh. Lost Odyssey even meher.

Why would they wait instead of being the only place with an exclusive review of DMC4? It came out early for halo 3 and other games. Yeah it would be good if they came out with it early, but there's already two sites that I know of that have DMC 4 reviewed.

GS rarely posts reviews to games before they are released, for some reason i'm unsure of myself.
the melee system in Halo 3 is essentially broken, at least in my opinion. when battles degrade to being whoever can hit the B button first, you know there is a balancing issue. admittedly it's fun for a while, and i'm probably being overly critical, but what i'm saying does have truth to it.
