Price. $530 for a processor whose competitor is only marginally slower, but abot 400 dollars cheaper. I think I'll buy an Athlon X2 3800. I mean, I have an AMD motherboard anyway. I can live with a processor that's slower than the Core 2s, because the E6700 is much, much pricier by comparison. I make sure I get fast components, but when it comes down to it, price wins over speed any day. At least for me.

I guess it all depends on perception- if you acknowledge beforehand that it's unreal, then it is unreal. But if you expect realism, then you get creeped out.
