I always wizz through games really quickly, like i did with star wars tfu, which i only got a couple of days ago. I like 1st & 3rd personshooters, action adventures type games and rpg if im in the right mood with lots of replay value, will take quite a while to complete, pretty open world, and preferably multiplayer. I'm almost certainly going to get Gears 2, but i'm just thinking about xmas.

Games that I like the look of, in order most to least-

Gears2, CoD Waw, Dead Space, Far Cry 2, Legendary, Fall Out 3, Left4Dead.

I don't really think Fable 2 is my cup of tea. I wanted Far Cry 2 for quite a while, but i'm not so sure now. And i'm not sure so i like the look of the combat in fall out 3. I think i'd prefer a 3rd person kind of thing sinse i have a few fps already, don't want any games to be similar. I'm not so sure i need Cod Waw. So i'm leaning towards dead space and far cry 2. Let's say i get 2 (not including gears), what would yall recomend?

Definately Dead Space. I just got it a week ago and it was surprisingly awesome! I haven't played any of the others though, so I'm going to suggest Assassin's Creed for you. That's action adventure, and a very good one at that.

[QUOTE="CaptainHarley"]im looking for some games with minimal violence, if any. i just destroyed dead space in two weeks and am taking a break but i want something that is not gory and idealy does not involve shooting people. i already own viva pinata, great game. any suggestions?Syrenz

Need for Speed: Most Wanted if you like racing games, Marvel: Ultimate Alliance and Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga. Loads to collect in the last two and I think Most Wanted is a great game when you're finished with the shooting and the blowing off of the limbs in Dead Space.

NFS:MW is one of my all time favorite games. NFS: Carbon was also pretty great. NFS: Prostreet they totally ruined though- although did have real nice graphs.

I think NFS Underground series and Most Wanted are the best of the NFS games. But Undercover looks great!

Between these games, which one would you buy? (Offer any other suggestions that you think are better within the price range of $50 or below)

-GTA IV

-Call of Duty 4

-Battlefield Bad Company

THANKS!

GTA IV. Others will say differently. But seriously, GTA IV will last you a long, long time. Yes, the online of Bad Company and COD 4 are really fun, but the two single-players are short. So may as well get a game with a long single player, and online.

I don't think Skate 2 will be as good as Skate. Needing to get off your skateboard to drag items so you can jump on them and preform some cool tricks. I'd much prefer a simple map maker than that. But that's just me. Shaun White Snowboarding, on the other hand, looks pretty cool. I might rent it if the reviews are good enough.

I think it looks good, in a very unique way. I think it'll be a love it or hate it situation, like Dead Rising and Cloverfield. People who love it will be for it's terrifying/frantic zombie gameplay that'll keep the player always on their feet, having to work as a team if they want to get at least half way through the mission. But people will hate it for the intense difficulty it appears to have. We'll just wait and see, not too long now.

Always rent fighting games first unless you're a fan of the Soul Caliber series and you know you'll be playing it for a while whether with friends or online.

I have both but I would choose Fable 2. Don't get me wrong, they are both awesome games (Dead Space was surprisingly very, very good) but Fable 2 will last you a lot longer.

I found the achievements in Marvel: Ultimate Alliance and Bioshock worked well. The ones that took more time were worth a lot more than ones that were very easy to get. At least, I found those two games were the only ones that I wanted to get the Achievements for, so they must of worked somehow.
