[QUOTE="CheapPerfume"][QUOTE="m25105"] And let me guess, you listen to some obscure crap that only true underground metal heads appreciate? Black Sabbath are the kings of Metal, it's not even up to debate. Hell every Metal playing artist will probably tell you the same.heysharpshooter

They're about as much kings of Metal as Louis XVI. Seriously, if I wanted to listen to derivative drivel, I'd rather listen to Lady Gaga as I spoon my brains out with q-tips.

No offense, but you are bashing someone else music without providing any alternatives... what kind of music do you enjoy?

Since when does a critic have to provide alternatives for terrible art? Does Roger Ebert sit there and tell his readers what to watch instead of Glitter? Well, yes, he has a series of books, and a top movie list, but when talking about something specific, he does not change the subject to some other artist.

Post the bands you listen to then.

Name dropping isn't going to improve the quality of Ozzy, no matter how petty your ad hominem arguments will end up being.

[QUOTE="CheapPerfume"][QUOTE="DmadFearmonger"]Any 12 year old I know save for my younger brother wouldn't know who these guys are. And I listen to loads of other stuff. Look at my sig mate. Dream Theater sucks, too. You might as well listen to ABBA, Weird Al, Heart or Linkin Park. Yes, I went there.

You dare insult Dream Theater? I would murder you if I could

If your blade is as sharp as your audio fidelity, I'll make sure my skin is not made of warmed butter.

You must share with me what you know...starting with crystals.

They smell funny.

[QUOTE="CheapPerfume"][QUOTE="CheapPerfume"] When did I ever affirm the present when denying the past, when intervening with the possible negative 'pop culture' variable. Sir, you have chosen a logical fallacy, and should be ignored.Kcube

Think of it as a Venn Diagram. Suppose there are three circles; current, retro and pop-culture. I am only denying those which lie in BOTH pop-culture and retro. I'm neither denying nor affirming any of the other six possibilities (which there are clearly more, when in the topic of music)

Everything I say is a logical fallacy

You sir just qouted yourself.

I was expanding, and didn't feel like going to another page for 'edit,' rather than just quick-quoting myself. :)

You have the same grasp on musical composition as a twelve-year-old. Try listening to something a little less linear. Retro-pop culture music is about as mind blowing as a wet napkin.

wait....

Are you trying to admit Justin Bieber is metal?

[QUOTE="CheapPerfume"]I'm currently focusing on intellectual expansion. When you date someone, you date their family, friends and emotional baggage -- not for me, jack. I had enough of that when I was a kid.jubino
But what is knowledge worth without one to share it with?
