Hey there fellow gamers. Just yesterday I bought my Xbox 360. I bought the Arcade version due to budget reasons and I am not willing to get into the multiplayer on Xbox Live. Although I am in desprate measures to get a really good game that is as fun offline as it is online. I already own Dead Rising which I find fun , but very teadious at times so I am looking for a game that is going to make me forget of my zombie killing troubles and have fun , BUT is still a very serious title and game. I have a short list of games I had on my mind , so I hope you guys can give me some insight into what these games are like and if you have ANY OTHER games that may be of my intrest. I am a fan of shooter/horror like Dead Space and action/adventure games like Assassins Creed. Here is my list of games I had in mind ... any other would be greatly accepted although with the exception of all sports games.
1. Gears of War 2
2. Saints Row 2
3. Prince of Persia
4. Far Cry 2
5. Fallout 3
6. Grand Theft Auto 4
7. Left for Dead ( NOT SURE IS IT IS GOOD AS A SINGLE PLAYER GAME )
I would recommend TMNT 1989 Arcade Version or Galaga. Both are very challenging classics and the achievement list is very strong ( although galaga's achievements are a bit on the easy side ) . I would say to get the TMNT (1989) it's an enjoyable classic , and not too long. The achievements are a bit of a challenge , which lengthens the game's life. I'm writing this message for my friend , he enjoys his XBOX 360 very much. Also he is very pleased with the games out and the following games to come. A new system in two years would be too soon , especialy with the economic down turn for 2009. The XBOX , could have many years ahead of it ( a good 4 ) if microsoft would mind to. I am getting a 360 in the summer of 09 myself , so if a new system was in place that would suckfor me
These graphics aren't too bad. The cell shaded / cartoony graphics are something quite strange for R*. Although I was expecting a bit more from this. I don't know if any of you gamers here have played GRID or Transformers for the DS. But those games Racing / Running around gunslinging action was quite good. They could have came up with something of that genre. Or base it off an engine similar to those. I was quite bummed for it to be similar looking to GTA , and GTA 2 for the Playstation.
All of these games sound awesome , it has def made me start to think ... I was looking at a game called Tekken dark ressurection is that n e good it looked good but sometimes thats all it is good graphics nothing else
