David Haytner... i mean hell at the end of MGS1 he says his name is david... all i heard when kiefer was talking was the "dude from 24", totally broke immersion, also since the did it for motion capture and to make their face be more emotive.... but then they had like fraction of the cutscenes that they usually have and Big Boss was basically a silent protagonist... (blame Konami?) .the second and third chapters. no drones on FOBs.

and o/t, since Liquid is trying to replicate Big Boss' dream, I would love to play the game as the antagonist... also the MSX games should be released

this game was absolutely great and i am well on my way to completing all side ops and playing the hell out of the FOBs as im guessing MGO will tie into my resources and such in MGSV somehow. but it could of been legendary, like MGS1/LoZ/Halo/FFVII type legendary. undeniably classic, as of now it is "only" a GOTY type game that people will not remember with as much nostalgia and just that MGS feel alot of us love so much like all the console entries.

best gameplay yet, but i think most hardcore MGS fans will put this below every MGS on console due to the horrible/rushed/unfinished story unless they hate Raiden... and I don't.

my 6-700 ratings are still missing. im assuming these ratings can/will never be restored?

not reviews. ratings.. only reason i come here (esp. now since half the links on this site take me to the homepage or refresh w/e page i was already on)

edit: also why are the ratings under random platforms?.. why have a section to seperate by platform if the ratings u assign to games go to random platforms and generally not the one u played it on? i don't get it

@derp_meowslurp: yea this redesign is just frustrating. the majority of the links just tak eme back tot he home page for w/e reasons. the ratings i did have were just thrown under random platforms and not the platforms i rated them under and all the platforms share the same ratings which is.. dumb.. and now my 700 or so ratings are simply gone... for the second time now.

@Gelugon_baat: they were all ratings to begin with. when i go to ratings and reviews show: reviews & ratings, i get 1 rating. not 600. if you could link me my 600-800 ratings so i could verify this with my own eyes it would be appreciated.

i went to chrono trigger and a few other games i know i have reviewed in the past as well, and the pages for those sites do not indicate i have left any rating for them what so ever as well. i feel it's all been lost in the ether. these GS updates have been poorly implemented. so many issues. i feel like half the links take me to the homepage and now my ratings are lost. i should of used excel.

yea. i lost over 600. really the only reason i use this site.

even though after the last update all the platforms of my ratings were random as all hell and inaccurate.

seriously pissed. they better fix it.

@edgework: thanks. everything looks great. i suppose the aggregate rating is here to stay though? also, how do i ensure that i am rating for the correct platform. ys chronicles for example has it rated for the psp release and not the PC version that i played. when i click the little pc icon takes me to the pc homepage instead of the ys chronicles pc page. a number of other games are like that as well. do i have to write a review in order to indicate which platform i am playing.

@edgework: it what way was i treating you like a trained monkey? it's six weeks past when you said you were going live with the new ratings and haven't released any updates in this regard... and still haven't. all i did was ask questions not a finger was snapped. leave us in the dark w/e man.

you guys missed your release date by well over a month.... so again.. what's going on? i just hovered over my name and it said i have 37 reviews though i've never done a written review. though have over 400 ratings. update maybe? your last post was nearly 2 months ago. how do i get my data regarding my game ratings back it's been down for months now.

also like many others have mentioned having games scores aggregated does not give an accurate reflection of the quality of the game as judged by your users (bayonetta any1? and thousands of others that got ports of one kind of another over the past 30 years of gaming)....
