I've played a few N64 & ps1 games that I played a lot but it was Halo:Combat evolved & GTA VC that got me into gaming. Played those games nonstop.

Does this new Xbox 360 get the Red Rings of Death? Thats my main concern right now.

No it doesn't have it. It has a red dot instead.
It actually has one green light in the middle. but it doens't mean that it won't have any problems, it could get a GROD instead. But I really doubt it since it uses the 45nm chip therefore uses less power, and less power means less heat, and less heat means that there is less possibility of having hardware failure due to overheating in which the previous models were infamous for ;)Exactly!
Its got to be the transfer cable. Do you have the updated one? >>http://www.xbox.com/en-US/hardware/x/xbox360transfercable/Is any one else having problems transfering data from the hd to the new slim..Ive followed the video put it in the front an the back..It wont even recognise the cable..Im not sure whats wrong..Is ther any other way to do this..Some help would go along way..Im sure ive got it in the right slot..

[QUOTE="Carsarefood"][QUOTE="thequietguy"] Wait so you can save it onto a flash drive, transfer it to a new 360 HDD, and not need the flash drive anymore?thequietguy
Pretty much. Never tried it though. But wouldn't it be easier to just buy a transfer cable? http://www.xbox.com/en-US/hardware/x/xbox360transfercable/
somebody else I believe in previous posts on here posted a video on how to transfer memory from the old 360 to the slim. If you're going to use a transfer cable watch this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MM0LGaRbgvc but if you just wanna use your USB I found a video for that

[QUOTE="GarrettDS"][QUOTE="thequietguy"] Thanks. I have an HDMI cable from my Elite, guess I'll sell it without. Or maybe I'll sell them for like $20 to someone and buy another. Also, does it come with a plug-and-play or a battery or anything? or just AAs? And what about headset? And can I buy a transfer cable, or does it have to be new?thequietguy
No it just comes with batteries. But it does come with a cool black controller and black headset. and i don't know much on how the transfer cable works. i just used a USB flash drive to transfer my data.

Its been the same for all xboxes. The day i brought guitar hero world tour my brother barely bumped into the 360 which was standing vertically. it didnt even move an inched yet a huge 360 stratch was on this disc. I can only imagine it would be worst if you acctually move the console.[QUOTE="JhnRll7"]Have any of you seen any videos of the Slim demolishing games? Apparently they're serious about not moving the Xbox while you're playing.MassiveKaos
Dude that sucks. Because of that I might as well download every game I have (if possible) to my 360 so I can sell my games
at Gamestop & put it on my Edge card.
[QUOTE="MaddogQ80"]I dunno all the stuff they're putting into this generation right now it seems like it'll be around for quite a while longer.i almost traded my old 360 in for this but its not worth it mine still works and the next gen systems aren't that far around the corner
Mrbojangles34
I agree.
