Toughest SOB to come out of NYC vs. Thai Hooker who keisters a shiv just to survive... I bet on the hooker. :PFrame_Dragger

As Dave Chappelle would say; "That's not a knife. This is a knife!". Any real New Yorker would "This is a gun!".

Having spent a lot of time in New York, i gotta say the notion that it is a tough or hard city is just fantasy. I absolutely love it, one of the greatest places on earth, but tough? How? In what way? If it's because it's crowded, hell, you should see London. Now THAT is a crowded city. Ninja-Hippo

Been to London. All I can say is... Um, no. Crowded?? Please. Now The Bronx, THAT'S crowded.

In the midst of all the quabbles about Anonymous, I actually think theyre somewhat good. Do you not think it's a bit extensive for Sony to sue Hotz for hacking a PS3? I think it is. In computing terms, technology is all about innovation and movement, all Hotz was doing was improving on a PS3 HE bought. I think its stupid to sue a guy who was hacking his own PS3 (Which Sony still gains profits of) he had bought and it goes against the principles of technology. Its suddenly not right when someone wants to modify a product he/she bought, but its suddenly ok for a multi billion corporation to sue him over it? If Anonymous even did hack the PSN, theyre just sticking up for Hotz. Yes, it does affect the millions of PS3 user out here, but if it isnt tackled, these exploitative corporations are gonna throw their weight around and give you a product with strings attached. They obviously want the pressure to be put onto Sony, for Sony to lose wads of cash and to lose reputation, but I think its for a just cause. Either way whether you support or hate Anonymous, you're doing what they want you to do.RoboDuckii

He has a right to modify HIS own product. What he did, however, was to expose trade secrets, and enable those who wanted to commit piracy. Are you that naive to think that Sony are just going to be swell guys and say "Sure, go ahead and give the system keys away. We don't care. Everyone just go crazy!".

If you owned a business and someone kicked down the door in the middle of the night to allow anyone and everyone to rob you blind, I'd willing to bet you'd want the proverbial book thrown at him, and then you'd fix the lock. If you say "well that's different", it's not different because it's video games. It's exactly the same thing. Sony has a right to protect their business.

You want to put the brakes on these guys? Here's how; take them to a strip club. After that they'll be there 24/7, even during the lunch time performances.

You've had this happen three times before? Seriously, if you own a car that keeps breaking down do you not get rid of it? And don't say "that's not the same thing" the only thing different is the dollar amount.

Ben Franklin said that the definition of "insanity" is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result.

Of all the games I think are teetering on the verge of AAA, I would say Uncharted was probably the least worthy. I really liked it but it was alot of rinse and repeat action. Platform-shoot-platform-shoot. Hopefully not to spoil anything, the monsters really hurt the story imo.

I think RFoM should have gotten AAA, and is still the strongest ps3 exclusive to date. How Zelda TP, MP3, and ME didn't get it also is a mystery as well.

They weren't monsters. They were cursed Spaniards. They've been called monsters, zombies, the undead, by countless people across the internet. It's one of those things that people picked up on and has spawned a life of it's own but it's no where near the truth.

You are right they were cursed Spaniards, with a possible sprinkling of cursed Nazis. It just really seemed like it was an unecessary plot twist that turned a unique title into a been there ,done that shootem-up. When Drake was watching the video, I was almost ready for the prototypical evil Nazi scientist to explain how his attempt at human gene experimentation went horribly wrong.

Well there's quite a few super natural twists in many adventure movies. Namely the Indiana Jones movies. There was a slight twist in the Clive Cussler novel Inca Gold (which Uncharted is loosely based on) as well. Wherever you have something that's lost or is shrouded in legend there's some kind of local folklore that goes with it. Whether there's anything to it or not. So that's kind of where that ties in to it. Does the Ark unleashing it's power destroying the Nazis lessen the impact of Raiders? Does Indy meeting the 500 year old knight guarding the Holy Grail turn the Last Crusade into a run of the mill shoot 'em up film?

I don't think so. I think much of it has to come back to suspending disbelief. This is where, in my opinion, many gamers really don't grasp the concept of a game like this or of an adventure story. I hear all too many times "this is unrealistic", "that is unrealistic". Well yeah it might be but at times you have to just go with it. And I think this is where the Tom Clancy games have really set back gamers in the sense that everything is so rooted in "realism" that it gives gamers and developers very little leeway to really try different things. How many times have you heard someone say "I only play realistic games". Really? Because I think just about everyone has played Pac Man and I don't ever remember being chased by a ghost in a red sheet. And if I was I better lay off the Nyquil! (just kidding).

FFXIII will not be released anyware by 2008 SquareEnix said they would have a playable demo for 2008.

Plus Uncharted was lame, its just indiana Jones but dumbed down, with more guns and prettyr visuals

ukillwegrill

Actually it's Clive Cussler's Dirk Pitt crammed into a video game. Open a book sometime. It's good for you.

It's only a rumor. It's been denied repeatedly.

According to GameSpot's own "news" the 360 actually saw an 18% DECREASE in sales this year. So actually wouldn't you say the 360 is LOSING (note the spelling) strength?
