Not really a fan of Other M. It felt so disjointed from other games in the series, I honestly felt like I may as well had been an entirely different series. I'm a fan of FMV cutscenes but only if they're done well... I'm not sure Metroid Other M accomplished that. I'll like to see Nintendo NOT hand down their franchises to other developers since it hasn't really worked out to a level I find acceptable, at least on the console side of the spectrum. You can make a case that Nintendo did that originally when giving Retro Studios a shot at the Prime trilogy, but then Retro became a part of Nintendo anyway, so that point is moot. I'm just not convinced it works out. Anyway, this is supposed to be about sales, so I'll leave now.
I'm playing through the Wii version myself for the first time and I'm also having a lot of problems with the controls. Often when performing the slash technique, the straight line doesn't register and bloom seems to work a little sporadically. During those sequences with Susano, in particular the fight against Orochi, I had a ton of difficulties and had to restart over and over again. Even when crossing off defeated "wanted monsters", performing a straight line proved arduous and Issun kept yelling at me. :( I prefer the PS2 version myself.
Why cant you have both? One day I went to mcdonalds to get chicken selects, BK to get onion rings and cheesey tots and then went to Al's to get fries. No reason you can't haz everything you wantnottu

Totally feel like getting some cheap, food court quality food ASAP. Problem is, I want Chinese and I want a burger. But I can't have both. So help me decide.
FFVI is a Christmas ritual of mine. I generally don't get far. But it's tradition! Of course, it just depends how good the game is. I've been itching to replay Okami lately... I beat Uncharted 2 three different times now, on progressively tougher difficulties. I beat the Zelda/Mario games over and over again. My favorite game of all time, Half Life 2, I've beat SO many times. etc etc etc
