@robbiejones @CampoDeiFiori Yea but I have a psp for ps1 games and I like it a lot for that. I'm just having a hard time paying the price I paid for my ps3 for a system with not a lot of games. Price drop and I'll buy!

Meh I want to be excited about the vita but I still haven't seen the games to justify any purchase. Honestly if they ported sky rim or borderlands 2 to it I would buy it in a heart beat. But for only $100 I guess it's still worth it. I still don't know if that is a believable price.

Well my phone already has crappy enough battery just by being turned on, and I need it to do actual things on like talking to people and checking email, so I don't use it for gaming, in fact I never have. I own angry birds and its mindless and repetitive so yea its worth a dollar, but uncharted is worth every penny to me its great that I can play console quality games on the go and I'm fine paying 40 bucks for them. Anyone who spends 250 bucks on a machine designed to play awesome games to play 1 dollar games is an idiot, and anyone who buys a phone just to play 1 dollar games is also an idiot.

I would think that if Nintendo went 3rd party they would be insanely successful, but all you bums are already buying their console just to play these games so why not keep doing it? It would only make sense to drop out of hardware when people aren't willing to pay $200 to play a couple games. As for this "death of consoles" talk, this seems to come up literally every year and every year all three consoles do great so I really don't see the point in doing this unless one of these next consoles pulls a dreamcast I assume they will all be around.
