This is what I wrote in the other forum: No thank-you. I can see where there would be a small market for this but it doesn't look like something I'd be interested in. I still like having the actual physical media. I pay \$40-\$60 for game I like to be able to go to the shelf and pick it up when I want to play it. There are games that I bought 10+ years ago that I still play from time to time. Not to mention that you have to be connected to play. What if your net goes down for whatever reason? What if you can't find a hot spot? Also: say you adopt early to this and it falls flat in 3-5 years. You've just wasted X amount of money for something that you don't physically have. Like I said, some people will flock to this but as far as taking over? I doubt it.

I honestly have to laugh at the ppl commenting here about the price and compatibility of these controllers. You can use them with any game, fighting/classic arcade what have you. Also, if you think you can play at the same level with the regular D-pad compared to someone that has one of these sticks/pads you are sorely mistaken. These controllers are for fighting game enthusiasts. It's like buying that 'uber' gaming mouse for fps shooters or that ZBoard keyboard for WoW or any other MMO on the market. If you're serious about the game then I see no problem with getting some top end gear to give you an edge. Can't wait to get mine.

@King_Kev_321 You seem to be under the impression that these sticks are only compatible with SF 4, you'll be able to use them with all your fighting games, and classing arcade games as well. Soon as I can get the money together I'm getting one. =)

@Calbert Sorry to hear about that bud. I bought the Ken pad also at my local Best Buy a couple days ago and have had zero problems with it. Sounds like you just got a bad one, hopefully the one you get in exchange works well. So far I like it very much. I've seen a big improvement to my game in SF:HDT on the 360 and SCIV,VF5 and DoA4 feel 'that' much better now that I have a more responsive D-pad.

@xophaser I'm not so sure about that. Even though they are being phased out for higher end 8 and 9 series cards, I've had a lot of success w/ my BFG 7600 256 GT OC. Yes, it is a older card, but w/ my E6300 dual-core and 2 gigs of RAM, it's actually not a bad rig. I can run all of my fav. PC games,(CoH,C&C:TW, WoW, Q4, Hellgate: London, The Witcher:EE), and many others at medium to high settings. It's certainly better than the 8500 GT since it has a faster core clock and more pipelines compared to the 8500's 512MB. The only draw back is that you have to keep the fan running at 100% when gaming because it will overheat. It's a little noisy but I usually game with my headphones on, so it's not a big deal.

I'm running w/ a Core Duo E6300-1.87- 1 GB of RAM and a GeForce 7600 GT OC and it runs great at 1280x1024 with everything cranked. Out side of cities where I usually get @ 35-45 fps I usually get 60-65 fps.
