I agree, in the midst of all the Call of Duty's, Battlefields and any other generic fps, Halo was always the different cousin, with different mechanics. If 343 try to make it too COD-like in an effort to boost sales, the series is sadly dead.

Still, mega hopes up for another classic.

Did anyone really enjoy Fable 3? I see so much hate on it being overly simplistic. I just picked it up, but I'm not sure about it so far, it's very limiting in it's choice making procedures. Thoughts?

haha, Oblivion wasn't too bad, it just took a while to get into the pace of things. A game that put me to sleep was Far Cry 2, open world shooters aren't a top idea in my opinion :P

What are your thoughts?
In my opinion, Bungie was Halo. No doubt 343 will recycle past game mechanics, give it a lick of paint and put out a quality product, but I just get the vibe that it's not going to be the Halo I loved from the past decade.
What do you want out of it?

No order

1) Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim (Incredible game, does the series and it's progression justice)

2) Red Dead Redemption (great story, gameplay, and great length)

3) Assassins Creed II (roof jumping is crazy fun, great story)

4) Halo: Reach (incredible shooter, half decent story and great online mode)

5) Battlefield 3 (decent campaign imo, and ridiculously addictive and realistically scaled online multiplayer)

I've only just come to realise that the 3DS has no gba slot... and I have no idea why. I WAS going to get one so I could migrate pokemon and play all my old classics, but it turns out that nintendo don't want to make it backwards compatiable, no buy from me then....

Hey I just turned on my xbox the other day and it came up on the game screen "insert hard drive" or something, its not recognising it. Any suggestions? Oh and its an elite 120gb btw. :) any help is appriciated.
